New Fact Sheet & Webinar Explore the Basics of Health Insurance in California
SACRAMENTO, CA – Today, Insure the Uninsured Project (ITUP) released a new fact sheet and announced a webinar for July 21, 2020, 2:00 – 3:00 PM, describing the various sources of health insurance in California and how each program operates.
The webinar will focus on who qualifies for, pays for, and regulates common sources of health insurance coverage in the state and will provide key definitions and questions consumers seeking care should be asking.

The webinar will feature the latest ITUP Fact Sheet: Health Insurance Basics
“The goal of this fact sheet is to provide an overview of common health insurance options for consumers and anyone seeking to understand the health insurance coverage options in California,” said Katie Heidorn, ITUP Executive Director.
Heidorn, who served for five years in the Brown Administration at the California Health and Human Services Agency, will host the webinar in July.
