ITUP Legislative Toolkit: State Government 101
ITUP provided legislative training for the San Diego In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Advisory Committee. Jana Wright, MPH, ITUP’s Director of Policy, delivered an insightful overview of the California legislative process, emphasizing effective engagement strategies with legislative bills. Additionally, Jana provided a timely overview of the California state budget process, particularly relevant given the recent announcement of the Governor’s May Revise.
