Insure the Uninsured Project (ITUP) invites you to join a Doulas Listening Session this spring. These sessions offer a unique space to discuss the critical role of doulas in improving maternal and infant health outcomes while identifying solutions to increase utilization of the Doula Medi-Cal benefit.
What to Expect:
ITUP is hosting three community-based listening sessions to gain deeper insight into the barriers doulas face and to develop actionable solutions. Past ITUP Health Equity Collaborative participants are encouraged to attend to help ensure diverse regional perspectives shape the discussion.
What You’ll Gain from These Sessions:
- Share your experiences as a doula, advocate, or healthcare professional.
- Help identify solutions for doula recruitment, training, and infrastructure.
- Connect with stakeholders and policymakers working to advance maternal health equity.
