ITUP Orange County Regional Equity Collaborative is

In-Person Once Again!

In ITUP’s Annual Regional Equity Collaboratives, ITUP seeks to advance health equity by partnering with policymakers and the communities they serve. ITUP will facilitate conversations across the state dedicated to listening to the challenges, opportunities, and priorities of the local health care ecosystems.

In 2024, ITUP will bring together regional health and health-related stakeholders who will share and discuss state-level health policy updates and do a deep dive into workforce challenges and promising opportunities in Orange County.

During the in-person Orange County Regional Equity Collaborative, attendees can expect:

  • ITUP Policy Updates and Discussion. ITUP will share and discuss state-level health policy updates and receive local-level implementation updates from attendees. ITUP prepares and disseminates draft agenda and customized policy factsheets that include local health data.
  • Equitable Health Workforce. ITUP seeks to advance health equity by partnering with policymakers and the communities they serve. As newly insured Medi-Cal beneficiaries enter the health system, ITUP-facilitated discussion will explore workforce challenges and highlight promising opportunities to secure a workforce that is reflective of the community it serves and is adaptable to a changing system.
