The ITUP LA Health Collaborative brings together safety net stakeholders and local health care leaders engaged in health reform in LA County. More than 100 attendees benefit from program updates and consider emerging issues and challenges in lively small-group discussions. Register for this free event today!

In 2024, ITUP will bring together regional health and health-related stakeholders who will share and discuss state-level health policy updates and do a deep dive into workforce challenges and promising opportunities.

During the ITUP LA Health Collaborative, attendees can expect:

• ITUP Policy Updates and Discussion. ITUP will share and discuss state-level health policy updates and receive local-level implementation updates from attendees. ITUP prepares and disseminates a draft agenda and customized policy fact sheet that includes local health data.
• Equitable Health Workforce. ITUP seeks to advance health equity by partnering with policymakers and the communities they serve. As newly insured Medi-Cal beneficiaries enter the health system, the ITUP-facilitated discussion will explore workforce challenges and highlight promising opportunities to secure a workforce that is reflective of the community it serves and is adaptable to a changing system.
