Telehealth During the COVID-19 Pandemic
Thank You for Joining the Second ITUP Policy Forum of 2020!
ITUP Policy Forums convened experts for state-level discussions related to health policy in California. ITUP Policy Forums are a unique opportunity to convene with health policy leaders to engage in constructive dialogue, problem-solving, and identification of creative policy solutions to today’s pressing California health policy topics.
At a time when physical distancing is paramount, telehealth remains a useful tool for some consumers to safely access health care, expand access to care, and to reduce health disparities. Despite utilization success statewide, many state and federal telehealth policy flexibilities are slated to go away once the public health emergency is over. In this second forum of 2020, government and community leaders will engage in a discussion on what the future of telehealth can and should look like in a post-pandemic health care landscape. If you missed this forum, you can find the event slides and recordings below.
