ITUP is currently looking to fill the following position:
Associate Director
The Associate Director is an integral part of the ITUP team. This individual would be responsible for working with the ITUP team to move forward important state and local initiatives related to the uninsured. This position would report to the executive director and supervise ITUP’s policy staff. The Associate Director would have major responsibility for writing and editing ITUP reports, making presentations on request, and facilitating/moderating ITUP events as needed. The Associate Director will also oversee organizational development and grant writing. We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience, as well as health benefits.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting policy research and preparing reports on statewide and local health policy
- Preparing grant proposals to seek new funding opportunities
- Facilitating and moderating high-level health policy meetings throughout the state
- Preparing policy maker briefings
- Presenting ITUP reports
- Maintaining strong relationships with the health policy community in California
