The next webinar, entitled Consumer Assistance and Insurance Oversight, will be held on Wednesday, December 1st, 2:00 p.m. EST.
Here’s a description of this one: For many who are already enrolled or seeking immediate coverage in private market insurance, reform has already arrived. 50-state expanded use of high-risk pools, the right to appeal denials of treatment, easier access to specialized treatments, consumer assistance offices and reviews of premium rates are new features available to tens of millions of Americans. States have numerous options for leading the effort, or declining to administer these policies, all of which are based on existing state laws.
