John Boehner Hates Gilroy

Last week House Minority Leader John Boehner boldly stated “I’m still trying to find the first American to talk to who’s in favor of the public option, other than a member of Congress or the administration,” and went on to say “this is about as unpopular as a garlic milkshake.”
On the contrary, both Survery USA and a recent New York Times/CBS poll found broad support, over 65%, for the public option across the nation.
Further on the contrary, the use of garlic precedes recorded history and its health effects are well documented. Congressman Mike Honda represents the 15th District in California, which just so happens to contain Gilroy, the garlic capital of the world. The WORLD. Needless to say he felt compelled to take action against such slander, and hilarity ensued; see Honda defend his constituents’ honor here.
