Gov Brown Signs Budget Plan

On Wednesday, Gov. Jerry Brown signed a budget plan for the 2012-2013 fiscal year that included cuts to healthcare and a tax hike to be voted on in November. If the tax hike does not pass, roughly $5.9 billion will be cut from public schools. This decision was deemed necessary… more
